Are you looking for a Personal Trainer? As a Personal Training Client we tailor-make fitness programs to suit each client and their goals. By doing this we will take you further than you thought you could go. Your initial Personal Training session will include a pre screen where we will talk about injuries and goals. From there your Personal Trainer Matt Thomson will develop a program that is efficient and effective to help you reach the sky.
It doesn't matter if you are new to health and fitness or a seasoned professional Matt Thomson has the skills and experience as a Personal Trainer to help you reach your goal.

I have a passion for fitness and sports. I've been a qualified personal trainer and worked in the industry since 2008. I have always been into sports from from a young age. I was trained by the great Arthur Lydiard and represented New Zealand in Athletics before going onto playing for the Ponsonby Ponies rugby league team.
I'm also addicted to "the powder" spending countless weekends at Mt Ruapheu and traveling to seek out fresh runs all round the world. I'm a competitive snowboarder and also a qualified instructor.
My passion for all sports helps drive all the programs developed by Building Better Bodies.
Matt is thoughtful and incredibly savvy about how bodies work. He has worked with members of our family ranging from the exercise impaired to the aspiring national athlete and everyone has improved hugely under his tutelage. We used Matt to ensure that our fitness levels were ready to get the most out of 3 weeks of skiing overseas. An added bonus was the opportunity to have our skiing style critiqued, with a few minor adjustments making all the difference. We are back in the gym with Matt now, preparing once again for the ski season ahead
